Wake Forest Newborn Photography | Baby Callie

There is something incredibly special about welcoming a family back into the studio, especially when it’s for another tiny miracle. This sweet session was for a family I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing before, and this time they brought me their second beautiful baby girl. Watching families grow right in front of my lens is one of the greatest honours of what I do. I still remember capturing their first daughter at their home, the excitement, the love, those first tiny moments and now, getting to photograph their second little one felt like watching their story continue in the most meaningful way.

There’s always something extra special about these return sessions. Everything feels so comfortable and familiar, filled with trust and ease, and it allows me to truly focus on capturing the heart of their family. This little one was an absolute dream. So peaceful, so content, and perfectly snuggled into every pose. From her delicate fingers resting under her chin to her soft lashes and the tiniest details that change all too quickly, every moment felt worth preserving.

We chose the most beautiful soft spring palette for her session, with gentle lilacs, creamy neutrals, and delicate floral touches woven throughout. The fresh flowers added just the right amount of whimsy while still keeping everything timeless and classic. These are the kinds of images that will feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today, soft, natural, and full of emotion.

The newborn stage is so fleeting. It passes in a blur of quiet snuggles, sleepy stretches, and growing love, and it’s such a gift to be able to freeze these moments in time. For this family, having both of their daughters photographed in the same soft, intentional way creates something truly meaningful, memories that will only become more treasured with time.

I am so grateful to be a small part of their story once again 🤍
