This little sunshine came into the studio ready to explore all the bright, juicy props with oranges, lemons, watermelons, and kiwis galore. From the very first moment, she couldn’t resist holding onto that sweet orange, giving us the biggest smiles and curious expressions. It’s always so special capturing a baby’s personality at this age – playful, adventurous, and completely themselves.
For this session, we set the stage with vibrant fruit backdrops, neon strawberry signs, and crates overflowing with fresh lemons and oranges. The pops of pink, yellow, and green created a cheerful space that matched her bubbly spirit perfectly. She crawled right into the scene, all smiles and giggles, soaking up the fun.
No first birthday session is complete without cake! Her watermelon-themed smash cake stole the spotlight – a sweet pink cake with green frosting and tiny “seeds” painted in. At first, she looked at it with curiosity, dipping her fingers into the icing… but it didn’t take long before both hands (and eventually her whole face!) were covered in frosting. The joy on her face as she tasted her first birthday cake was priceless – wide grins, messy cheeks, and little fists full of cake.
